  • ISO 9001:2015 - Management System

We commit to the highest and finest standards by implementing ISO 9001:2015 procedures and systems. Quality policies are the backbone of any organization, and RBO has been quick to recognize that these are vital for its success. It has thus adopted these policies and defined them in line with the requirements of the International Standard Organization (ISO).

RBO Global quality assured system covers the scope of:

Design, engineering, construction and project management services for the areas of electrical, mechanical, healthcare, water and IT
Supply Chain Management including procurement and technical selection of; medical, electrical, water, mechanical and IT equipment.

  • ISO 18001:2004 - Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) Policy

The Occupational Health and Safety of RBO's employees is a prime concern for us.   We are committed to reducing health and safety hazards by ensuring safe work practices and applying technology for sustainable development.

We aim to achieve this goal by:

Implementing a formal Occupational Health and Safety Management System in accordance with OHSAS 18000:2008.
Ensuring that it is appropriate to the nature and scale of the organization’s OHSAS risks.
Following safe work practices, preventing injury and ill health, and continually improving the effectiveness of the system.
Complying with applicable legal and other requirements as well as taking any additional measures considered necessary.
Outlining and setting OH&S objectives, targets and programs, and monitoring and reviewing the objectives to improve the performance.
Documenting procedures and instructions that are required to implement and maintain the OH&S Policy.
Communicating to all personnel working under the control of the organization with the intention that they are made aware of their individual OH&S obligations.
Making the OH&S policy available to all interested parties (within the organization, clients, contractors, government bodies and public).
Outlining the training and competence required to prevent occupational hazards.
Carrying out periodic reviews of the policy to ensure that it remains relevant and appropriate to the organization

  • ISO 14001:2004 - Environmental Policy

The Environmental Policy RBO is to conduct its business in a manner that conserves the environment and minimizes pollution. We accept our responsibility to limit and mitigate any potential adverse impact of our operations on the environment. This is achieved outlined below:

Implementing a formal Environmental Management System (EMS) in line with ISO 14001:2004.

Ensuring that it is appropriate to the nature, scale and environmental impacts of its activities, products and services.

Committing to the prevention of pollution, and continual improvement of EMS.
Complying with applicable environmental legal requirements and other environmental-related requirements.
Providing the framework for setting and reviewing environmental objectives and targets.
Documenting the policy, procedures and instructions that are required to implement and maintain the Environmental Policy.
Communicating to all personnel working under the control of the organization with the intention that they are made aware of their individual EMS obligations.
Making the Environmental policy available to all interested parties – within the organization and to clients, contractors, government bodies and the public.
Outlining the training and competence required to achieve conformance to the Environmental Management System.
Carrying out periodic reviews of the policy to ensure that it remains relevant and appropriate to the organization.


 

MEMBERSHIPS

We are an active member in the global FIDIC association which some 67 member countries worldwide.

FIDIC, the International Federation of Consulting Engineers represents globally the consulting engineering industry. As such, the Federation promotes the business interest of firms supplying technology-based intellectual services for the built and natural environment.

Founded in 1913, FIDIC membership today numbers 89 national Member Associations representing some 1 million professionals

All FIDIC member recommended to follow international contracts and business practice documents, attend the industry’s premier international conference.

FIDIC promote the consulting engineering industry’s business practice in areas such as international Contracts and agreements, Integrity Management, Quality Management, Environment Management, Project Sustainability Management and Risk Management, FIDIC actively promotes the development of the industry through committees and tasks forces on Sustainable Development and Capacity Building.
